Professional capacitor spot welder for 18650, 21700 and 26650 cells

Spot welder based on two high-capacity capacitors.

The welder is primarily designed for welding 18650, 21700, 26650 and other cells using nickel sheet metal with a thickness of up to 0.3mm or nickel-plated sheet metal with a thickness of up to 0.4mm. The welder has been tested with a 0.15 mm nickel-plated sheet metal package, the power was set to 10/25, higher values burned the cells.

The welding machine should be connected to the charger, after which the capacitors are charged, which takes about 20 minutes. Welding can begin when the capacitors are charged above 5V. Welding occurs automatically when the electrodes touch the plates after the time set on the display, or manually after pressing the trigger with your foot. The welding power can be adjusted from 1 to 25.

Use the correct pressure of the electrodes on the plate. Too much pressure will cause most of the current to go into the electrodes (which will manifest itself in the heating of the electrodes), too little pressure will cause the plates to burn, and the right pressure will make the weld strong and solid.

The capacitor welder can be stored fully discharged without any problems and does not cause any problems in the home electrical network. In addition, it has replaceable copper electrode tips. The weight is approximately 5 kg.
