The programmer is designed for reading and writing memory and microcontrollers, EPROM, EEPROM and Flash, NVRA (both NOR and NAND types) MCU, MCP, EMMC, EMCP, PLD, CPLD, GAL, SRAM, NVRAM and others, which can be found, among others, in mobile phones, car modules and other electrical devices.

The programmer was created mainly for servicing modern audio/video and household appliances, as well as laptops and PCs.

It is the successor and a more advanced version of the TL866II PLUS serial model, which is popular among service technicians.
