  Convenient and safe installation: The sensor features a sliding design, allowing it to be easily and securely clipped onto the high-voltage lead of the first cylinder without risk of damaging the insulation.

  Directional indicator: There is an arrow on the sensor. For the lamp to function correctly, the arrow must point towards the spark plug. (Sensor length: approx. 185 mm / 7.3 inches).

🔧 How does it work?

1. Connect the red terminal to the positive terminal of the 12V battery and the black terminal to earth.
2. Fit the sliding inductive sensor onto the ignition lead of the first cylinder (the arrow on the sensor must point towards the spark plug).
3. Start the engine.
4. Aim the lamp at the fixed marks on the crankshaft pulley.
5. The flashes from the lamp will ‘freeze’ the moving image, allowing you to check and set the ignition timing precisely.
