Introducing a professional strobe light (timing light) for petrol engines with spark ignition. This is an indispensable tool for every mechanic and advanced DIY enthusiast, allowing for quick and accurate setting of the ignition timing in cars, motorbikes, scooters, mopeds, as well as boat engines (e.g. outboard motors).

Thanks to the latest version, featuring an improved, sliding inductive sensor and an exceptionally powerful xenon lamp, the job becomes simple, safe and effective.

  • Powerful, bright xenon flash: The lamp is equipped with a high-quality xenon bulb that generates a very strong beam of light. It will easily illuminate even the markings on the flywheel or pulley in bright daylight. The flash frequency reaches 1000 RPM, ensuring a stable image at various engine speeds.
  • Innovative sliding inductive sensor (Sliding Sensor Clip): This is a key advantage of this model!

    Convenient and safe installation: The sensor features a sliding design, allowing it to be easily and securely clipped onto the high-voltage cable of the first cylinder without risk of damaging the insulation.

    Directional indicator: There is an arrow on the sensor. For the lamp to function correctly, the arrow must point towards the spark plug. (Sensor length: approx. 185 mm / 7.3 inches).

  • Strong ground clamp (Power Clip): A large, sturdy clamp ensures excellent holding power and a secure connection to the battery or vehicle ground, guaranteeing stable operation of the device.

    Convenient button: Positioned in an ergonomic spot, the button allows for convenient control of the lamp, including adjustment of the advance angle and switching between 4-stroke and 2-stroke engines.

    Pistol-grip design: The ergonomic housing made of impact-resistant plastic fits comfortably in the hand, preventing fatigue during prolonged use.

🔧 How does it work?

  1. Connect the red terminal to the positive terminal of the 12V battery and the black terminal to the ground.
  2. Fit the sliding inductive sensor onto the ignition wire of the first cylinder (the arrow on the sensor must point towards the spark plug).
  3. Start the engine.
  4. Aim the lamp at the fixed marks on the crankshaft pulley.
  5. The flashes from the lamp will ‘freeze’ the moving image, allowing you to check and set the ignition precisely.
